Q&A
Q. How do I get my child enrolled in Universal's Program?
A. First you would look over the class schedule we offer and decide what classes best fit your schedule. Then you would go to our online registration and following the simple steps asked to register your athlete for our program.
Q. What is the Registration/Anniversary Fee?
A. All Students will be charged an registration/anniversary fee of $25. This fee is good for one year or until you drop out of the program. On your anniversary date you wil be charged your $25 anniversary fee each year. For all existing customers your anniversary fee will be due one year from your registration into this new program.
Q. What if my child misses a class?
A. Because of our strict student to teacher ratio, missed classes will not result in make-up classes, prorated tuition or refunds. No refunds for classes missed. Classes that fall on scheduled holiday closures will be provided with a make up class. If you have a special circumstance please let us know how we can help!
Q. What is your drop policy?
A. PARENTS MUST NOTIFY THE OFFICE TO DROP A STUDENT FROM CLASS.
Please note: You are responsible for payment for your student's classes WHETHER OR NOT YOUR STUDENT ATTENDS CLASS until the time you notify the staff AT THE FRONT DESK. Please do not rely on your student to verbally let us know that he/she will no longer be attending classes. If a student stops coming to class without notification then that student's account will be charged for the additional 30 days. This charge will be for holding the student's place in that class instead of offering that place to one of the many on a waiting list.
Q. What should my child wear to practice?
A. Boys or Girls may wear tucked in T-shirts and shorts OR Leotards for Girls. NO chewing gum or dangling jewelry. Hair should be pulled neatly and securely away from the face so that is stays up for the entire workout. Girls should not wear bows or other large hair ornaments that may cause discomfort during activity. All students will go barefoot. Personal items should be left in cubby holes. Jewelry should not be worn during classes. PLEASE LEAVE JEWELRY ARTICLES AT HOME. This facility's staff will not be responsible for ANY items that may be lost or stolen. Be sure your student's personal items are marked with their name.
Q. How early can I drop off my athlete for class? Where do I drop them off at?
A. Be sure your student arrives 5 minutes before (no earlier please) his/her scheduled class time. Please pick up your student on time. Please inform us if you know you will be late picking up your student. Instruct your student to wait inside the building and you should escort them from the building to your car. During peak times the parking lot is crowded. You may drop and pick up in the front or back of building. Please take into consideration that our students may include young children. Please drive slowly and carefully. Do not take a chance on your student running to and from your car.
Q. My Child is intrested in the Sonics All Star Cheerleading. How do we get started?
A. Try outs for the new season will be held in May. At the time of try outs, the season packet will be handed out with all of the details for the season. Tuition fees, competition dates, location, and fees with all other expenses will be included in the packet. We would suggest at this time to enroll into a gymnastics or tumbling class to help prepare for the upcoming season's tryouts. If you are prepared to commit to All Star Cheer immediately see the front desk for possible opportunity for an alternate position.
